HEY! If you haven’t heard we have moved down the road from the Krum square.
Thank you for considering The Bore and Barrel to complete your firearm transfer!
Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with the FFL transfer process with the information below.
I want to order a firearm, what do I do?
Visit a site, choose your firearm, add to cart, and proceed to checkout! You will be given an option to choose the FFL your firearm is sent to. If The Bore and Barrel is listed with the company already, simply select our name and voila! Your transfer is ready to go.
I'm ordering a firearm but The Bore and Barrel isn't listed as a transfer option- HELP!
If our shop isn't listed on the site you're ordering from, don't worry! Just send us a text message (940-629-2900) with your full name, order number, and name of the site you're ordering from. We'll send our FFL information to the business in question to ensure your transfer reaches us.
What happens when my firearm arrives at The Bore and Barrel?
When we received your firearm transfer we will contact you by call or text with the information provided on your packing slip.
What if my firearm gets delivered while you're closed?
Have no fear! If your firearm arrives while we're closed the delivery service will hold the package until we re-open, or deliver to any staff on the premises.
I'm ready to pick up my transfer! What do I need to bring?
To complete your. transfer, you will need the physical copy of your unexpired driver license listing your current home address. If you have a current, unexpired LTC, bring that, too!
What if I have a temporary license? Can I still receive my transfer?
Yes! If you have a temporary license you can still receive your firearm transfer. Just make sure to bring a secondary form of identification with your photograph. This can be your previous driver license, or a current or former LTC (License to Carry).
What if I'm just visiting, and I don't live in Texas?
Purchasing a long gun, but you don't live in Texas? No problem! As long as your current state of residence does not prohibit the ownership of your particular transfer, the transfer process will be the same as listed above.
Purchasing a hand gun, but you don't live in Texas? Unfortunately, we cannot lawfully transfer a hand gun to an out of state resident. However, we can send your transfer to another FFL in your current state of residence.
